Ohio Democratic Party Bolsters Emphasis on Local Races in ’15 and Beyond
COLUMBUS– Last night, at a meeting with county party chairs from across the state, Ohio Democratic Party Chairman David Pepper announced the Party’s plan to make early investments in local races throughout Ohio in 2015.

The Ohio Legislative Black Caucus met with candidates for the next Ohio Democratic Party Chairmanship yesterday for a frank discussion on the issues affecting African Americans.
As our Ohio Democratic Party (ODP) acts to elect new Party leaders in the near future, Ohio’s unified Congressional delegation, respectfully, wishes to go on record as supporting reforms that will lead to future victories for our endorsed candidates. Our objective: Renewed progress for our state and communities at all levels.
The disappointing results of the mid-term election will produce major changes in the leadership ranks of the Ohio Democratic Party, including the chairmanship. Prior to these momentous changes, we members of the Democratic Congressional delegation wish to go on record as supporting a deliberative and inclusive process that respects the various members of the Democratic family.
