Today, the John Patrick Carney campaign for Ohio Auditor of State announced that it pulled in more than $328,000 since January 31, bringing the campaign total to nearly $1 million to elect John Patrick Carney. The campaign also reports it has more than $736,000 cash on hand. In response, campaign manager Brendan Kelley released the following statement:

After a poll last week showed the Governor tied with Democratic gubernatorial candidate Ed FitzGerald, John Kasich’s campaign released their second ad in a week, once again zealously stressing his working class roots and his leadership in job “growth.” In reality, the Governor has done little to allow Ohio’s middle class families to achieve the same success he has.
At the Franklin County Republicans’ Dinner tonight, Governor Kasich should avoid repeating a few of the lines from his latest campaign ad if he doesn’t want to get fact checked in the capital.
