Democratic candidate for State Auditor John Patrick Carney released the following statement on the Ohio House GOP’s voter-suppression amendment to the Mid-Biennium Review. Under the amendment, any county that mails out absentee ballots to its residents would have its local government funds cut by ten percent.

Standing alongside working families and next to a week’s worth of groceries, Pillich asked Ohio families what they would do with $10,805, the additional amount a family of four with two working parents would earn if women earned equal pay for equal work.
