When Cuyahoga County Executive and Democratic gubernatorial candidate Ed FitzGerald pointed out last week that a House Republican plan funded new programs to combat the heroin crisis by cutting millions from mental health services, the Kasich administration stood by the plan and attacked FitzGerald for his criticism.
The Republican Governors Association launched an ad this morning claiming that “John Kasich works.” Unfortunately for Ohio’s working families, Governor Kasich doesn’t work for everyone.
Democratic gubernatorial candidate and Cuyahoga County Executive Ed FitzGerald released a statement on the Senate’s late-night vote to pass SB 310. If Governor Kasich signs the bill into law, he will be “the first governor to turn his back both on renewable energy and energy efficiency standards. About two dozen states have such standards.”
