On Tuesday, May 6, 2014, State Representative and candidate for Ohio Auditor of State John Patrick Carney was endorsed by the Ohio Association of Professional Fire Fighters.  The group represents over 10,000 union firefighters in the state of Ohio.

John Patrick Carney is a proud supporter of those who dedicate their lives to serving and protecting the public.  In the Ohio House, Rep. Carney voted and campaigned against Senate Bill 5 and also worked on other issues for our first responders.

“John Patrick Carney stood with firefighters and against SB5.  He realized the impact it would have on public safety,” said OAPFF President Mark Sanders.  “Just like so many of our firefighters, John has been and will continue to be a great public servant – the Fire Fighters’ choice for State Auditor of Ohio.”
