COLUMBUS– Tuesday, the Carney for Ohio campaign released its second television campaign ad in the Ohio State Auditor’s race. The commercial highlights the current Auditor’s hypocrisy when it comes to safeguarding taxpayer dollars. With taxpayer money, Dave Yost’s office spent $7-per-cup of coffee during a fraud and waste conference in February of 2012.

“The Ohio Auditor of State Office, under my watch, will work for the people of Ohio,” Carney told reporters as he outlined a number of policy details and shared plans to improve the State Auditor’s office to help it better work with Ohio communities.

Carney’s strong record of bipartisanship and points to the need for a strong and independent Auditor that maintains a check on government for the benefit of the people of Ohio.
COLUMBUS– Thursday, the John Patrick Carney campaign for Ohio Auditor of State announced that it pulled in more than $115,000 in just one month, with a cash on hand balance exceeding $1 million. This compares to about $86,800 raised by incumbent Auditor Dave Yost’s campaign, marking the fifth time Rep. Carney has outraised Auditor Yost.
