Former Student Reveals He Was Paid To Alter State Tests 

COLUMBUS – New allegations concerning the Dayton Horizon Science Academy in a report aired on WHIO-TV Friday night and in a Dayton Daily News story on Sunday. Both reports featured testimony of a graduate at Dayton Horizon Science Academy. Hakkimte Sun, a former student of Dayton Horizon Science Academy, told reporters he was paid by administrators to fill in answers on hundreds of State standardized tests.

DeWine’s Office Tries to Distract from Growing Pay-To-Play Scandal

COLUMBUS – After a string of negative news stories about how Mike DeWine has personally met with lobbyists of firms seeking State contracts and documents showing changed scoring sheets to rig bids to benefit an inexperienced DeWine donor, today Mike DeWine’s office suddenly rushed out a press release claiming to have a record year in collections the last fiscal year, which ended a month ago.

The past decade, Richard Cordray has received criticism for presiding over such a link. So has Jim Petro, and now Mike DeWine, the current holder of the office.

Vendors gave big to DeWine, GOP

Columbus — In doling out lucrative collections contracts, Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine passed over more experienced vendors in favor of a friend’s new collections agency.

His campaign and the state Republican Party received hundreds of thousands of dollars in campaign donations from collectors as they sought work from the state.

TOLEDO – Today, David Pepper, Democratic Nominee for Ohio Attorney General, continued to highlight $20 million in state cuts to heroin and other addiction treatment services that went into effect July 1st. Pepper has been traveling the state to call for the funds to be restored.
